About KayLyn
New Music Coming Out in 2022!
If you ask KayLyn Pace, she’ll tell you music runs in her blood.
Between her musically inclined cousins, her multi-instrumentalist Grandpa Larry, her hip hop artist/writer brother Brent, and her Great Uncle Dave who performs as an Elvis tribute artist, it should come as no surprise that she was bitten by the music bug as early as age 5. Her grandparents’ gift of a karaoke machine sealed the deal and by age 11, KayLyn was performing at fairs and festivals around her home state of Michigan. Listening to idols like Carrie Underwood and Alan Jackson encouraged the outgoing songstress to pick up a guitar and write songs during her teen years.
In 2016, KayLyn’s hobby turned into a much needed career move when she packed up her car and drove from Ann Arbor to Nashville. The fearless small town girl immediately began honing her writing skills and networking at writer’s rounds in Music City. She continued to travel back and forth to the Michigan area for shows, serving as support for acts like Eddie Money, Bucky Covington, and Darryl Worley. Her initial single, “Show You Around”, charted #75 on the Music Row Charts and led to her first radio tour not long after she moved. KayLyn’s 2017 release, “A Little Change”, produced by hit songwriter Dan Mitchell (Alabama’s “If You’re Gonna Play in Texas”) eventually helped secure opening act status for Broken Bow rising artists Jimmie Allen and Runaway June in 2018.
And now, this easy-going spirit has just released a new single based on deeply personal past experience. The cut to the chase, go getter mantra of “What’s Right For You” is an uplifting anthem for anyone trying to get out of a toxic situation. The tune, available on all digital platforms, is just one of three new tracks coming out soon-all written solely by KayLyn and produced by Ken Royster from Direct Image Studios. With new music, KayLyn hopes to add more tour dates to the calendar because as her favorite saying goes, “You only live once!”
“My family, my friends, and music is what keeps me going. When I’m sad or stressed, I like to reach out to my close knit family or play guitar and everything that I’m feeling at that time disappears for a bit. It’s amazing that music can touch so many people’s lives” shares KayLyn.
And that is exactly how KayLyn spends her days—using her positive energy to make a difference in the lives of others.
Give It A Shot and Hazel all available on all platforms; and all songs written by KayLyn and Produced by Ken Royster from Direct Image Studio in Nashville. KayLyn is planning to have more songs recorded in the near future.
